Matt Katsaros is a mixed methods researcher interested in the intersection of social sciences and technology. He has worked on Twitter’s Social Science Research Team helping to make conversations on the platform healthier. Prior to that, he worked at Facebook as a researcher where he used both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to support both engineering teams building algorithms to proactively detect various types of unwanted content as well as the policy teams creating the governance structures regulating that same content.
